Harper Collins wanted to push this new fantasy thriller to a younger, smartphone-owning audience by employing an augmented reality introduction. Ad agency Dentsu and technical programmers Demi Kandylis/SplitElement came to us to provide the artwork and animation for this AR experience. The viewer picks up a provided smartphone and tries to find the hidden marker contained within the musty old bookcase. They are then treated to an awesome animated synopsis of the book.
